Flat Caps
Flat caps provide a simple, flat end closure for pipes, used in low-pressure applications and temporary pipe sealing. They are the most economical cap design and are widely used in construction, structural, and utility piping.
Dished Caps
Dished caps, also known as torispherical caps, feature a curved profile that distributes internal pressure more evenly than flat caps. They are used in pressure vessels, storage tanks, and medium-pressure piping systems.
Semi-Ellipsoidal Caps
Semi-ellipsoidal caps (2:1 ratio) provide the optimal balance between pressure resistance and material economy for high-pressure applications. The elliptical profile distributes stress more uniformly than dished caps, making them the preferred choice for pressure vessels operating above 100 psi.
