GP / GI COILS & SHEETS

Galvanized Sheet/ Coil (locally referred as GP/ GI sheet) is basically carbon steel sheet coated with zinc on both sides by continuous hot dipping or electro-galvanizing process. This zinc coating is one of the most effective and economical method to protect bare steel from corroding. The galvanized sheet comes in various spangle forms such as normal, minimized or zero spangle, and skin-passed. Zinc coating varies as per density of coating ranging from 90gsm to 350gsm.

Galvalume Sheet/coil is coated with Aluminum and Zinc both, (locally referred as BGL- Bare galvalume coils). The coating density varies as Al-Zn 70 gsm to 350 gsm.
